Racist anti-racists see racism in Santorum stutter

So Rick Santorum said the word "government" followed by a stuttered "ni" when talking about Obama.

Cue the "anti-racist" firestorm who all concluded that he must have meant "nigger".

Here's a typical sanctimonious video responder who is certain that Santorum meant "nigger".

Has anyone ever heard the term "government nigger" before? Google sure hasn't.

What would motivate such a demented response?

These new high priests of morality are motivated by their own racism. Every chance they get to smear the white man, they just throw mud. It's never about facts, it's about opportunities to smear. It's all about demotivating the white man and advancing their own race.

Coal Seam Gas Refugees

A stirring compilation video on the devastating environmental, financial and psychological impacts of the massive coal seam gas invasion onto Australian farms.

"We see ourselves as coal seam gas refugees."

State leaders Anna Bligh and Barry O'Farrell are presiding over "laws that are not just bad, they are insane". And Federal leaders Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott are just standing by, silently watching the destruction.

Marine Le Pen: We Cannot Go On Living In Fear

Marine Le Pen on the campaign trail (via VFR):
Like all mothers I would like my family to live in security, and for children to be able to return home at night without fear of muggings, beatings, or trafficking of all sorts. Like all mothers I worry about my children and for all mothers I want to restore peace and order in our country. But I see that this is not the case, and that we are on the wrong track. I find it shameful that both Left and Right, in power for decades lie openly on this topic. The number of criminal attacks has only gone up, the number of immigrants implicated in these attacks has been going up constantly! On this issue, lies are everywhere, they have become the last rampart of politicians to protect them from a reality that is often unbreathable for the inhabitants of big cities, but also for the countryside. A trip to the ER of any French hospital would allow the blind and deaf who rule us to realize the truth for themselves...

They say I am fiercely anti-immigration. It's true. They dare to say I am xenophobic and racist. Nothing could be further from the truth of my life. I simply say that I totally refuse immigrants who themselves refuse the authority of French law and French culture...

We cannot go on living in fear. Along with other Frenchmen, I want a France that is part of the modern world, proud of her civilization and unyielding to those who want to impose on her principles that are not hers...

I want honesty in politics. I prefer those who, like myself, see things as they are and make few promises, but who decide to fight inch by inch with the French people in the name of our freedom and our prosperity against the dictatorships of Europe and minorities. I solemnly remind you that the model of society proposed by the globalist ("affairiste") Left is diametrically opposed to my convictions...

I will do everything in my power to develop the possibility of creating values for France. To do this I will oppose the law of the jungle, where disloyal competition has become insurmountable, where relocating, economic destruction, poverty and massive unemployment have become an uncrossable limit. I will give back to our entrepreneurs the freedom to fight on a level playing field. But I am also a woman who fights against the mendacious Right, the Right that abandoned its values...

Afrikaner asylum seekers blindly dismissed by US academics

'We want out of SA' (via Western Voices)
A South African family is desperate to remain in the US, its members claiming they cannot return home because, as Afrikaners, they will be subject to racial discrimination...

The family, described by the law firm as "white Afrikaner farmers", is among dozens of South Africans who, over the past decade, have applied for asylum abroad for a range of reasons, including fear of persecution and violent crime. Some of the applications have been successful...

But Professor Mark Behr, of Rhodes College, in Memphis, Tennessee, and Dr Dennis Laumann, of the University of Memphis, have rejected requests that they help the family.

"I am not interested in assisting Afrikaners claiming discrimination in a non-racial, democratic, post-apartheid South Africa," wrote Laumann.

"In my scholarly opinion, there is absolutely no basis for their allegation - whatever evidence they may present."

Behr - who is an award-winning South African author - said he did not believe the law firm would find "any fair-minded scholar" to support the family.

"If the people your firm seeks to represent are in any way victims of racism, it is, sadly, only a racism of their own making, in their own minds...
Without knowing anything about these two academics, you'd have to think that only a demented liberal ideologue could reflexively dismiss an asylum claim, regardless of "whatever evidence they may present", as if South Africa was inherently some post-racial nirvana.

We are seeing "the systematic closure of factories"

Anzac biscuit maker falls into administration
Unibic is Australia's fourth-largest biscuit maker. The company has been producing biscuits, cakes and pastries since the 1950s...

... chief executive Michael Quinn told his 170 employees that the factory would be closing down after the company appointed administrators on Wednesday....

Jennifer Dowell, the national secretary of the food and confectionary division of the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union, says food manufacturers are doing it incredibly tough.

"What we are actually seeing is cost-down pressures coming back from both supermarkets," she said...

Ms Dowell says there are a number of factors at play.

"This was one of them and it is a very important one but what we are seeing is the systematic closure of factories, loss of jobs and in our discussions with food manufacturers, almost impossible pressures coming back on the food processing industry right across the board," she said.

A fortnight ago, Mr Quinn told a newspaper that the price war between Coles and Woolworths had made it impossible for Unibic to pass on soaring commodity costs.

Australian Food and Grocery Council chief executive officer Kate Carnell says the answer is a supermarket ombudsman...

"Coles and Woolworths have a level of market concentration in Australia that, along with New Zealand, is the highest level of market concentration in the world."

High dollar + carbon tax + Coles-Woollies duopoly = the perfect storm to destroy local producers.

So while the brainless Julia Gillard and Wayne Swan talk up the "new economy", business is decimated.

The Australian Party, Protectionist Party and Doug Cameron look smarter every day ...
